Clearing Browser Cache


A Microsoft Windows update was installed on the server overnight causing bizarre behaviour. To resolve the issue you must clear your web browsers cache. Please contact us if you are using a browser which is not listed below and are unsure on how to clear the cache.  

Firefox 11.0

  1. Open the browser
  2. Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete
  3. The Clear All History dialog box will appear
  4. Ensure the Cache checkbox is selected
  5. Click the Clear Now button.


 Google Chrome v17.0.963.79

  1. Open the browser
  2. Navigate to: chrome://settings/advanced
  3. Click the Clear browsing data button
  4. Ensure the Empty the Cache check box is selected.
  5. Click the Clear browsing data button.


Internet Explorer 9

  1. Open the Web Browser
  2. Click the gear icon in the top right hand corner
  3. Select Internet Options from the fly out menu
  4. The Internet Options dialog will appear
  5. Click the Delete button in the Browsing History section
  6. The Delete Browsing History dialog will appear
  7. Ensure the Temporary Internet files checkbox is selected
  8. Click the Delete button
  9. Click the OK button to close the Internet Options dialog
